THERE SEA SNAIL VENOM WING BUTTERFLIES




Brief red -winged butterfly white looks beautiful . However , behind the beauty of the retained risk. The latest research shows butterfly wings contain toxic Asia .

" Butterflies are using poison as self-defense rather than a weapon, " said the Austrian research team examined the butterfly . The findings are published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences on Monday , October 15, 2012 .

Unique from these findings is red white butterfly ( Hebomoia glaucippe ) have the same poison predatory sea snail . It is unknown when the research team analyzed the protein from the body and wings of butterflies collected from several locations in Southeast Asia, namely Indonesia , Malaysia and the Philippines.

They found poison called glacontryphan -M in high enough amounts . Glacontryphan -M previously only found in marine snails ( Conus marmoreus ) or better known as the marbled cone snail . Mollusc predators use poison as a weapon to immobilize prey.

The research team also recorded many predators butterfly H. glaucippe , like birds , ants, and grasshoppers orchid choose to avoid eating the wings of a butterfly . " While the hunger gecko will eat the body and wings of a butterfly , no matter the poison in it , " they said .

Research is now being expanded into a butterfly in other areas outside of Southeast Asia to discover the existence of the same poison . The research team is also examining a number of other poisonous animals to find clues about the evolution of butterfly equality and the sharing of sea snail venom identical

POISON DART FROG



Poisonous frogs
Natural habitat of this poisonous frog is in Central and South America .
These frogs are known as child chopsticks poisonous frogs are often used because of toxicity / apply on the ends of chopsticks / arrow by locals.
Latin name of this frog is Phyllobates terribilis (Golden Poison Dart Frog ) and a frog that has the most beautiful skin color than frogs - frogs others .

Phyllobates frog is the largest frog species , generally poisonous frog species measuring only a few inches .

Poisonous frogs generally have a pretty flashy colors , such as green , yellow , or orange.
Changing the color is generally done to : display and eye-catching female frogs startle and repel predators.
Change the colors on this frog called aposematic colors .
